Culture, Walking, Trekking and Game drive

Leave Arusha/Moshi after breakfast. Drive to Lake Manyara National Park and have lunch inside the park. Dinner and overnight at Campsite.

After an early breakfast, set off for Lake Eyasi with your lunch box. Visit village of bushmen. Dinner and overnight at Campsite.

After breakfast set off to Ngorongoro crater with a picnic lunch. If you are lucky you can see the big 5 here.  Enjoy viewing until late evening before driving to Nainokanoka. Dinner and overnight at Nainokanoka special camp.

You will wake up early and eat breakfast. When you are walking in the Conservation area you will be followed by a Masaai guide. The environment is extraordinary and beautiful. Your guide can tell you stories about how the Masaai are living and using the environment around you. On this morning walk you will pass the "Bulbul depression" It's an easy walk that takes 3 hours. Lunch will be served at Bulati.

Alternative 1: After the lunch you walk from Bulati camp and up to Embakai crater rim. This is a hard walk since it’s up, up, up and it will take like 5 hours. When you reach the top you will have a fantastic view down to the Embakai crater. Dinner and overnight at Empakaai special camp a few meters from the rim.

Alternative 2: After lunch you will drive to a Masaai boma where you can get into the Masaai house and see how a family is living. The women and men will also perform their traditional dance. After learning more about the Masaai culture you will drive to the Embakai crater rim where dinner will be served and you overnight in the special camp.

Walking down the Embakai Crater. The descent is 250-300 meters. Then walking from Embakai to Nayobi Village. At the highest point you are about 2600 meter above sea. Dinner and overnight at Nayobi Village.

After breakfast walking from Nayobi down to the mountain Oldonyo Lengai. Through Masaai land and akasia forest to open hills and down to dry area by the foot of the Mountain of Good. When you reach the flat land your car will pick you up and drive you to an oasis camp close to a refreshing river. MIDNIGHT: Trekking down Oldonyo Lengai Mountain.

After descent from the trekking you will have your breakfast at the campsite. Resting and/or walking to the water falls. To get to the waterfalls you must not be afraid of water since you have to walk more in the water than by the side of the river. But in the end, the struggle is worth the view. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

NOTE: When you are walking in masaai land you will meet many people who will be curios. If you ask polite you might take pictures of them. Some want money for doing it, and some they don’t want at all to be taken picture of. Please respect their culture and ask before taking pictures.
Many women and children will sell you jewelers. This is a golden chance to get real masaai things instead of buying it in a souvenir shop. And you will know that the money stays to those who have made it.

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Natron. Then you will continue to drive towards Serengeti. You will climb the wall of Great Rift Valley and continue in a strange landscape where few people live. The road is probably one of the worst you will ever experience. You will eat lunch on the way to Serengeti and have a game drive before you camp at Lobo.

If you are not lazy, you will have a game drive in the early morning when the sun is rising. After breakfast you will continue with game drive the rest of the day, only broken by lunch. You can see zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, leopard, cheetah, hippos and many different birds in the endless plains of Serengeti. Dinner will be served in the evening at Seronera.

After breakfast you will have a short game drive before you start driving out of Serengeti. On the way you will pass Ngorongoro crater and have lunch on the way before you take the night at Karatu.

After an early breakfast you drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive and picnic lunch. After the game drive, you will go back to Arusha or Moshi.
