Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater and masaai village

Leaving early in the morning. Driving all the way to Ngorongoro crater. This takes about 4 hours. Game drive with lunch inside the park. If you are lucky you can see the Big 5 inside the crater (Buffalo, Lion, Elephant, Rhino and Leopard). There is also a lake in the crater with thousands of flamingos. Usually you can see many antelopes, zebras, gnus and hippos. When you have lunch watch out for the hungry black birds! They can come too close some. Overnight outside the park. 

Leaving early in the morning for Tarangire National Park. Lunch and game drive inside the park. In the wet season there is a nice river where the animals enjoy drinking. You will eat lunch where there is a nice view over the river and the animals. In the park you will see the Baobab tree plantation, and many birds. If you are lucky you can find lion and leopard. Leaving for Masaai village (in Monduli) in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in tent at a Masaai Boma.

 Wake up early and walk with masaai and their herds. Thereafter the masaai will slaughter and prepare a goat like they traditionally do when they get guests. If you want you can try the fresh blood of the goat. Lunch will be served in the boma. Later Masaai women will perform their traditional dance. Drive back to Arusha late afternoon

Masaai dance
